I'm not picky about cables as long as they work. I've seen more than one monster cable either destroy a DI or get destroyed by forcing it into a jack and I think they're overkill.

But - to all the musicians at my church - if you read this: I've been wanting to pick up a few of these:

http://www.markertek.com/Cables-Connectors-Adapters/Audio-Connectors/1-4in-Phone-Connectors/Neutrik-USA-Inc/NP2RX-AU-SILENT.xhtml

http://www.markertek.com/Cables-Connectors-Adapters/Audio-Connectors/1-4in-Phone-Connectors/Neutrik-USA-Inc/NP2X-AU-SILENT.xhtml

They're silent switch 1/4" plugs which would eliminate the popping that sound guys freak out about when something gets plugged or unplugged unmuted.

If you're interested in them, I'll get you one (pay me back) and I'll solder it on your guitar cable for you. Who's in?
